BACDisplay™
Introduction
The BACDisplay™ app serves as a comprehensive dashboard for the vehicle, offering real-time information on peripheral status, faults, warnings, troubleshooting details, and even datalog/live-charts options for faster diagnostics and a more immersive end-user experience.

Connecting to a vehicle
Connect to your vehicle using Bluetooth
1. In the Dashboard screen
Tap “Connect”
2. In the Connection screen
Select the vehicle you want to connect.
If you are near multiple vehicles, put your phone closer to the vehicle you want to connect to and check the signal strength to find the correct one.
Tap “Scan” if you need to scan again.
If first time connection
Choose a personalized name for your vehicle and tap “save”.
Vehicle Status
Check the status of your vehicle’s components
1. In the Status screen
You can check the status of your vehicle’s components in real-time, e.g. throttle and brake voltages.
Faults and Warnings
Your vehicle might generate faults and/or warnings
1. In the Dashboard screen
If your vehicle has any fault/warning, there will be an exclamation mark on the dashboard’s top left corner.
Tap the “Alerts” menu or the “Vehicle fault!” message to check the active alerts.
2. In the Active Alerts screen
Warnings are shown with a yellow triangle icon. They don’t force you to stop, and you may choose to take care of them later.
Faults are shown with a red circle icon. You cannot use your vehicle until you have fixed the faults.
Resetting active alerts
Some alerts will disappear automatically after they have been fixed. Others might require you to reset them.
1. In the Active Alerts screen
Tap “Reset” if you believe to have fixed an issue on your vehicle, but there is still an active alert related to the problem.
2. Confirmation
A message will confirm if the reset command cleared all the faults and warnings.
IMPORTANT : If the alert is still active after the reset command, it means the issue is not fixed yet.
Alerts History
All faults and warnings generated by your vehicle are stored and can be found in the “Alerts History” screen
1. In the Active Alerts screen
Tap “Check your alert history.”
2. In the Alerts History screen
All the alerts generated byyour vehicle at any time in the past will appear here.
Datalog / Live charts
Generate live charts and CSV datalog files to help you fine-tune or troubleshoot your vehicle.
1. In the Datalogscreen
Select a maximum of 5 parameters. Tap “Start”.
2. In the Live Charts screen
- Stop the datalogsession if you want to zoom in/out or pan through your chart.
- Rotate your screen to visualize large charts better.
- A CSV file is automatically created on your phone to store all the data logged from the current datalog session.
Loading CSV datalog file
Load a previously created CSV datalog file to recreate the chart generated by that datalog session.
1. In the Datalogscreen
Tap “Load CSV”
2. In the File Picker screen
Find the “BACDisplayDatalogs” folder.
Select the file you want to use to recreate the chart.
Sharing CSV datalog file
Share the CSV datalog file created in a datalog session.
1. In the Live Chart screen
After starting a new datalog session or loading a CSV file. Tap the “Share” icon in the top right corner.
2. In the Share Options screen
Select one of the options provided by your phone to share the file.
Changing sped unit (km/mi)
Choose between km/h and mi/h for your convenience
1. In the Settings screen
Select the speed unit you want to use throughout the app.
*The selected speed unit applies to the dashboard and live charts.
Renaming your vehicle
If needed, you can change the name of your saved vehicle.
1. In the Settings screen
Tap “My Vehicles”
2. In the My Vehicles screen
Tap the vehicle you want to rename.
3. In the Vehicle Details screen
Tap your vehicle’s name and rename it. Then, tap the “Save” icon.
Deleting your vehicle
If needed, you can delete a vehicle previously saved to your account.
1. In the Settings screen
Tap “My Vehicles”
2. In the My Vehicles screen
Tap the vehicle you want to rename.
3. In the Vehicle Details screen
Tap the “Trash” icon.
