Mounting Instructions
Attaching the throttle to the application can be made by mounting the base with three M6 screws onto the base compression limiter holes, indicated by the red circles in the picture below. The arm of the throttle can be fixed to the moving lever of the throttle mechanism in the system by using a shoulder bolt or other solution that doesn’t impose torque or stress to the ASI throttle body.

Note:
Neither the casing nor the lever of the throttle were designed to be used as a structural elements. The mechanism where the throttle sensor is installed must guarantee that the stresses due to the mechanism operation are not submitting the sensor components to mechanical stress.
The system in which this version of the throttle is installed must provision for the magnet installation. The throttle casing has a pocket to capture the magnet close to the sensor. The magnet pocket dimensions are 17.5mm in diameter by 9.0 mm in depth
The throttle body has five holes, intended to interface with M3 screws, preferably thread forming screws for thin plastic. It is recommended that at least the 3 holes (numbered 1, 2 and 3) shown in Figure below are used. The minimum thread depth should be 3.5mm, with a thread depth engagement of 4.0mm being recommended.
