Operation

Overview

The sensor can be placed in one of two operating modes, bidirectional or single-sided. These operating modes change only the relative output, they do not affect the absolute or calibrated angle outputs.

Broadcast

When powered on the sensor will immediately begin to measure and broadcast the following:

Value Units Discussion
Raw Measured Angle Degrees of Rotation Angle measured by the sensor, relative to the absolute zero, measured in the anti-clockwise direction
Calibrated Angle Degrees of Rotation Angle measured by the sensor, offset by the user-specified zero-value, and measured in the user-specified direction (anti-clockwise or clockwise)
Relative Position % Percentage of travel with respect to the user-specified relative calibration map
Staus % Percentage of travel with respect to the user-specified relative calibration map
